BAMALITE (PREVACID) INDICATIONS

Bamalite is used for preventing or treating certain types of ulcers. It is also used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) (eg, heartburn) and irritation of the esophagus. It is also used to treat conditions that cause your body to make too much stomach acid (eg, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome). Bamalite is a proton pump inhibitor. It works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach.
